Game continuosly crashing

I know there are other threads like this, which I have read through and frequented, but I feel like my own issue may be slightly different.

I can play the game for up to an hour without crashing, but occasionally everytime I open a door to a new area, or enter V.A.T.S I either freeze, or my game goes to windowed mode and stops working. (Maybe my issue is the same, I'm not sure anymore).

Either way, I have updated GFWL, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, and nothing works for me. It keeps bothering me because I recently bought this game expecting to relive all my nostalgia, to no avail.

If anyone has a permanent fix and/or solution to this, I would love to know. Any and all help is very much appreciated, thank you.

First we need to know more information about your PC.

Run dxdiag.exe and post in spoilers the results.

If using mods please post the load order in spoilers.

Also quite a few useful things are posted in this sticky about tweaking the game to run better.

You did not check the box for the 64 Bit so your DXDIAG is less than informative, as we don't know what drivers you have installed.

However, since the game runs for a while, it's probably not a driver issue. Then I have to ask, did you do the Multicore Tweaks to the INI file? Did you install the game outside of Program Files? Those two things can cause the exact behaviour your describing. These are detailed in the Pinned Install Guide for the game.

Yes, I did the "bUseThreadedAI=1" and "iNumHWThreads=2" thing. I did not however install it in a different directory, but I can try that now and tell you how that goes. Thanks.

UPDATE: Ok, so I installed the game to a new directory, and redid the multicore method, and so far im not getting any immediate crashes.. at least nothing I can see over about 10-15 minutes of playing. I'm still not sure if this has it fixed entirely, but I'll keep on the lookout. Thanks for all the advice!
