A teenager and advlt reading a book or staring at there cellphones?
The reason why I am asking this is because I just want to see which direction did society lean towards too.

They could be reading a book on their cellphone
But books are for, like, old geezers, right? The only reason they're reading them is because they were so unfortunate not to be born with the glorious technology of smart phones and iPads that we have today, so they're already used to it. Yes, I see a lot more teenagers and advlts staring at their phones rather than reading.
Ew, what kind of loser reads a book? If it isn't a cat video or picture comments on my iPhone, I want nothing to do with it.
I see the cellphone zombies everyday in the city. They seem to be controlled by their cellphones....It's as if there is some kind of "cellphone messiah" speaking with them.
I've seen "Amish" kids use cell phones... (Not joking. We can be driving by one of those Amish buggies being pulled by a horse and the two kids in the back seat will be on cell phones)... So...
Sadly, more toward cell phone. I would rather read a book than stare at a cell phone screen.
I've seen a bit of both but it depends on where I am.. I see a lot of people on their phone while driving (these are among some of the idiot drivers I always see), and the people reading books are always in the bookstores I go into.
