Obscure creatures of Tamriel (The Revenge)

Post » Thu Apr 10, 2014 10:35 am

With the Elder Scrolls Online launched, I pose a question, what are some of the more obscure creatures from the lore and passed games and will we be seeing them any time soon? Dawnguard brought Gargoyles back, only with a twist, and recently I have seen that Lamias have returned, only with a more serpentine/reptilian look to them. So, what are some of the most interesting creatures we might see? Could centaurs be comign back as well?

There are some weird tree enemies I found in Black Marsh when I played the beta

They looked a bit like wooden Big Daddies.

Some things from the mobile games could find their way into the main series - the http://images.uesp.net/5/57/Wormmouth.GIF or a http://images.uesp.net/2/21/DS-creature-Gehenoth.png

There is a quest in glenumbra that explains that they are corrupted spriggans. You can actually see the transformation during one quest.

Interestingly enough even though those creatures don't exist in ESO currently the starteeth in the crypt of hearts do appear. Look for the black crystals near the lich boss and the last one behind the final boss. Maybe in the future the veteran version of the dungeon will have us fighting a umbra'keth

I honestly have no idea what creature should return to the series in the future. Something with its own language would be interesting. It could even breathe fire, perhaps coming in various colors. Man, that would be cool.

Who knows? Maybe the answer is floating right there in front us.

Hmm...
