Looking for some Star Trek model ships to assemble

Post » Sun Apr 13, 2014 8:18 pm

I'm looking for some star trek model ships, particularly the ones you assemble yourself with glue and paint. I'm looking for the Enterprise, various incarnations of the ship, as well as a Klingon Bird of Prey. Anyone know where to get these? Links?

I am looking for exactly this, only problem is this is the only one I can find. I am looking for the Enterprise D from Next Generation.

Thanks for that link! It's not *exactly* what I was looking for, those are very simple snap together pieces with no glue or paint required, I'm looking for something a bit larger and higher quality, like the one I linked in the OP by Revell. And I'm not sure why they are so extremely cheap on that website, seems like a bit of a scam or something >_>

Those AMT models look to be a lot more common than the Revell...and they are cheap everywhere. http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/misc/models.htm a play by play from a guy who seems to have gone to great lengths to build as close to 'film quality' models as he could out of those kits. It doesn't sound particularly simple, though as with most models the results (and the effort) seem to mostly be in the painting.
