TESO trailers, story and characters

Post » Sun Apr 13, 2014 2:12 pm

Hello,

I really love the TESO's trailers, but I was wondering...

Those trailers follow a story, this is the "true story" of TESO ?

I mean, we have any information about the three heroes ? It's seems to me they are the heroes of each alliance. So, from this, the story of the trailer is after the game.

Any through about this ? Any information ?

I don't think anyone put much thought into the "story" of those trailers do to the fact that Zenimax pretty much tried to jam every major aspect of the game into three trailers ending up with a confusing mess.

In fact this might be true for the 2 first trailers that appear as a mashup of nothing-and-everything, but the third one is more intriguing. It seems that Mannimarco has taken over the Imperial City which is now full of ghosts, living dead and daedras of all kinds, and under siege by the ebonheart people. Which means that Mannimarco is meant to win ? Is there a "canon ending" planned, or is this scenario as shown in the 3rd trailer just one of many possible outcomes ?

Has anyone heard of dev info or else on the subject ?

It seemed more like the undead were attacking the Imperial City due to the fact that they let out a war-cry. The fort wasn't near the Imperial city and I don't think the trailers show any sign of EP attacking it.

The third trailer was just made to show off the anchors which made it more idiotic, the three factions somehow meet on an imperial aqueduct-fortress (the fortress itself looking pretty stupid not to mention the factions all meeting at a single point in the mountains.) AND THEN all of the sudden an anchor falls BECAUSE WHY NOT! and the ending was just "OHMYGOD LOOK UNDEAD! WE GOT EVIL UNDEAD!"

I really won't be surprised if they decide to make Mannimarco's side joinable in a future expansion. Each trailer was a badly made mess.

No.

In the first, we see each alliance assaulting an imperial fort.

In the second the apparition of a Dark Anchor. At the end the Covenant hero is killed and transformed into a zombie-like. We see him launching an assault to the Imperial City with an undead army.

In the third trailer, we can see that the Imperial City is under the control of Mannimarco and his minions, the Covenant hero notably. Then the Ebonearth besiege the IC. Probably meaning that the Pact has won the Alliance War.
