As I've mentioned in the past, I've got an Android phone (Samsung S3 Mini) and all the music on it is ripped from CD's. However, I don't want to buy CD's anymore but obviously I'd like some new music. What's the best place to buy music from if I don't have iTunes?

Holy crap those prices! ￡30 for just THREE Nirvana albums? It'd be cheaper to buy a bus ticket, go to town, buy the CD's, bring them home, rip them, buy another bus ticket, go back to town and buy a Burger King. :/

EDIT: Well the prices for Daft Punk are reasonable at about 4-5 quid an album, but the Nirvana prices are wild!

I usually use Amazon. They've got a lot of mp3s and stuff.

ha yea they're ripoff prices, check for a reputable free music downloader on the Play store...I've downloaded a handful of songs off of 1 of them awhile ago and it stores it right in your phones music player, you just have to authorize those creepy permissions.

Itunes, convert it to mp3. I don't know if that works because I use CD's

i would suggest a music streaming service. Spotify, Groovershark. Etc

Here's what you do: make a list of all your favorite artists you want to download on your phone. Then, check to see if they have their own website, and buy from it. Amazon, iTunes, and Google all take a percentage, and if you want to help the band out, buy direct. Plus, it's usually cheaper.

Once you download them to your PC (they're usually in mp3 format by default), plug your USB into the computer. Your device should come up as a storage drive (usually E: if you don't have additional drives). Copy the songs and you're done.
