Prey 2 still may be in Human head's hands because it is possible that those emails were fake

The newest news on Prey 2 as stated that prey 2 is being developed by Arkane studios and is completely rebooted with a new vision and a set release date of 2016 but why is prey 2 still on human head's website and why have all the devs still have their LinkedIn listed as working on Prey 2 in human head studios. The rumors of Arkanes involvement in the game first came up in may 2013 and then in early august 2013 Bethesda denied Arkanes involvement in the games plus leaked screenshots came out showing different locations in the game. But on august 15th 2013 leaked emails came out saying that Arkane are developing the game. Prey 2 had a no show at E3 2013 and there has been no news since august. E3 2014 is coming up and hopefully we may get an announcement. plus different sites have had different release dates mainly stated to be at the end of 2014.

My opinion I want to play human heads game. Open world, parkour,gadgets,guns,bounties and more. Why would you cancel a title that can be a GOTY.

It's not. Human Head's game will sadly never see the light of day. The internal emails were genuine. Arkane wanted to make vampire game in a neo-futuristic setting. When Bethesda said they own Arkane and told them their project was going to be Prey 2, Raf was okay with it since the game would still take place in some sort of futuristic setting.

The talk-at-the-time internally from Bethesda was that Human Head was causing issues by using development funds to create a different project. Funds that were supposed to be for Prey 2. This was a convenient lie on Bethesda's part to justify their crappy actions to Arkane and other internal studios.

Human Head's site hasn't been updated, job postings aside, since late 2012 when they launched Ford Courage. Prey 2 was still in limbo then. The studio didn't find out that the game had been cancelled until 2013.

Nah, there still around. I have no idea what they're working on - but it's not Prey related.

They were at PAX and GDC. Tim Gerritsen, Human Head's biz guy, was in a few photos on Randy Pitchford's Twitter feed.

I was so pumped for human heads version and I think its stupid that they hand it over to arkane just because they made one good game and also the fact that they wont let the original creators finish their game That could of been GOTY
