Game not available in your country

Post » Fri Apr 18, 2014 8:03 am

I have recently bought Fallout New Vegas from G2A.com, however, the key is locked in my region (I live in UK). It was supposed to be GLOBAL so howcome its not available in UK ?! Is there any other way I can get a working key rather than waiting ages for them to reply to my email ? Can Bethesda swap cd keys ? Please help me ;-;

You bought the game from a Firewall developer?

http://www.gta.com/

In any event, was the game advertised as being available in your area by the reseller? If so, you need to take this up with them as they provided you something you can not use.

I was wondering why I got so many Rockstar hits on my search..........

Hopefully they will sort it, I don't know what region includes UK, but they may have given you a European game, or one that is for Germany.

Well, Global means Global. I have spoke to them, they have said direct contact with reseller is not allowed and I'll have to go through their market support system. What a waste of time and money, I don't recommend buying anything from them.

Wonder why they represented it that way....

Anyway, the game does have some region locks, for one thing the German version of the game has some differences in it. In any event, bummer about all this, hopefully you can get a refund or replacement. Steam is another alternative to getting the game, they tend to get the region codes right the first time.
