A few questions about Bloodmoon

Post » Sun Apr 20, 2014 8:56 am

I haven't done Bloodmoon yet so I'm planning to do it with my current character (an evil assassin) but I don't want to spoil myself too much by reading the UESP or older threads, so I have some questions. I don't mind minor spoilers, but nothing major please.

1) Is the main quest of Bloodmoon suitable for evil characters or are you more or less forced to do it one way as in Tribunal? I mean, if there's another path to accomplish it, as with the Morrowind MQ, when you kill Vivec.

2) The same question as above but this time for side quests - are there alternatives for evil characters?

3) Is it possible to start BM at lower levels (10-15)? I don't mind decreasing the difficulty but I ask just in case.

4) WIll some content be locked if my character isn't Nerevarine or are the main quests of MW and BM completely unrelated?

4) I heard that Bloodmoon is very good. Is there any truth to that? :P

Thanks.

No content is locked.

About the difficulty, I'm not sure. Bloodmoon was made after people complained there was no challenge left for the characters they leveled up through Morrowind and Tribunal. There is a level 99 werewolf out there somewhere. My higher level character who finished both Morrowind and Tribunal, was wearing full daedric armor enchanted with the highest level sanctuary constant enchantment would get hit by werewolves and have the armor taken down to 0 in two hits. I play in first person only, and was rather surprised to find out I was fighting in my underwear at more than one point [damage items enough and they go into your inventory.] A hint for other critters; don't take your eyes off spriggans, even when you think they are dead. Oh, don't use really nasty spells with the rieklings at first, either. Most importantly, never, ever, ever, go anywhere without repair hammers/prongs in your inventory.

You do have the choice of werewolf or not werewolf. I guess one could be evil. Hircine isn't the prince of fuzzy cuddles though.

Not so much evil paths as not good in the long run, I guess.
