Ideas for a fire character

Post » Sun Apr 20, 2014 3:03 pm

I am making a fire character named Volg yol rahgol, and am wondering how can I make this fire wizard/warrior a good playthrough.I've never done pure magic before,so I'm a little lost.

Is this going to be a rp mage or just a gameplay choice?

What's his race? When I think of fire based characters, the Dunmer come to mind.

Well, the certain snow elf don't like being called falmer even though it is literally correct.

Because people also use falmer to describe the nasty goblin creatures. Like if the word white suddenly also meant filthy goblin creature, you wouldn't want to be called that either.

Dunmer have 50% Fire resistance, and have a fire cloak as a racial ability...

But if Altmer(50 more magika), and Breton(25% resistance) are also acceptable choices.

Any true, self respecting Dunmer doesn't like being called a Dark Elf.

Thats because Falmer has a very negative connotation.

I took a Dunmer companion for their flame resistance. Keeps them from getting hurt too badly by your fireballs- which is far and away the most useful spell. Erandur, Aranea and Teldryn Sero all make excellent followers.

Fire atronach is pretty useful all around, especially with the perks to strengthen her. I prefer them to anything but zombies because they don't get stuck in corridors. Much.
