Playing Skyrim on a mac?

Post » Mon Apr 21, 2014 2:07 pm

Can I still play Skyrim on a brand new mac? Could I play on medium settings? Is it possibly to play using a wired xbox one controller? Do I just plug it in to the USB ports?

Helppppp!!!!!

You need to use Bootcamp or Wine.

Ive read about using Skyrim on Bootcamp. Not sure about Wine. Realize there can be potential problems. Skyrim doesnt officially support macs or macs running VM environments.

So the point im trying to make is, you try this at your own risk. Google around for Skyrim on Bootcamp and Wine. Do some research. If you still want to try it out, then go ahead and buy the game

and have at it.

Boot camp actually partitions your hard drive and allows you to install Windows along side mac, as if it were a windows computer.

So, to answer your question, yes, although you need a sufficiently powerful mac and a valid windows license and install disc.
