The Four Races of Akavir

Post » Tue Apr 22, 2014 12:58 pm

The mysterious and dangerous continent of Akavir is home to the four races, the Kamal, the snow demon people, the Tang Mo, the kind and generous monkey beastfolk of the Thousand Monkey Isles, the Ka Po Tun, tiger-like cat-folk, led by Tosh Raka and the Tsaesci, a race of human-like vampire snake folk.

I have heard that Tsaesci could be like Argonians, but I think they would be more human-like, perhaps turning more humans after eating the Akaviri men that lived on the contient. Imagine a man/mer like creature, with snake-like features and a snake's mouth. Basically, snake-like humanoids, with both human, elven and snake features.

Well, in in-game lore, the Akaviri are described as 'snake men', even described clearly as having tails, and snake-like skin. Then again, in both the 'Lifting of the Vale' quest in Oblivion, and on Alduin's wall in Skyrim, they're shown as humans... So who knows what's really correct...

Perhaps they have the ability to shift between the two, human looking regulary, then transforming into bloodthirsty snake creatures. Or the Tsaesci are comprised of more than two races, or two different breeds. Also, it would be good if we got a new name for the Tsaesci, since the races' names are their homelands. Tsaesci is very pard to pronounce.

Tsaesci eating men is believed to mean that the men of Akavir conformed under the Tsaesci culture and rule, so yea. Tsaesci could be both snake men and humans.
