The Myst thread (and Obduction)

Anyone miss the deep complex and gorgeous world of Myst? Myst and TES are to me the pinnacle of videogame fantasy universes. Both are original in their setting and story, both are ridiculously rich and complex with often dark undertones. Both deal with religious ideas in interesting and divergent ways. Both offer a variety of beautiful rich landscapes and cultures.

In essence my Myst fandom is what drew me to games like Morrowind and Skyrim because I thought "hey THIS looks equally intelligent and rich".

I'll never forget my experience playing Riven or riding the Amateria crystal ball in Exile.

Right now there's a project underway which I'm kinda helping with to resurrect the original vision of Uru http://dirturulive.tumblr.com/. Its planned to launch this summer with new ages, a complete descent to D'ni and the Uru staple of live storytelling and player influenced content and story.

Any other overlapping TES and Myst fans hiding in the woodwork?
