Orc character RPG help

Post » Thu Apr 24, 2014 10:20 am

Hi,
I have decided to do my next play through role playing as an orc pit fighter. He's angry, mean and green. Since racism is common against orcs he
likes to fist fight those who treat him like [censored] because of his race. He wants the company of other orcs and will look for the orc strongholds in Skyrim. (I don't know myself where they are and don't want to look it up so I can stumble upon it a few random quests and adventures later.) Of course he will wear orcish items when they become available and will be smithing them him self. I just wonder if there are any
orc-related quests besides the ones in the strongholds or will I just have to live like a sell sword? Will also of course raid bandit camps. Is there any racial enemy, that my attack should have more hatred towards than others?
This is my first play through, haven't played much with other chars either for that matter, as an orc and I do not know a lot of the TES-lore around them besides
the basic things in in the skyrimwikia. So tips for quests, people to meet, places to visit, mods - you name it- are welcome.
Thanks!

You could attempt to getting https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1499444-orc-character-rpg-help/s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCkQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fmods%2F11163%2F&ei=AsdXU_WJOqSU8QH2u4CYBg&usg=AFQjCNG-neGpormQoEAVHudVvyLJRa3QuQ&sig2=9VRcU6XyVLEnVhALnnGz8g&bvm=bv.65058239,bs.1,d.aWc.

With that mod, you can act as more of an orc survivalist, on the verge of keeping yourself warm, always moving from place to place without a real home, raiding camps, and doing work like a sell sword when the need arises. The mod allows you to build camps and campfires as to why I suggested it to you. It gives you that feeling of a survivalist.

You can act as more of a lone wolf until you've found that perfect place for your orc to live or hang around in. This mod however does add weather affects in which you need to pay attention too so you don't become too cold and freeze to death. However, if you don't like that affect, you can always shut it off in the Mod menu.

Be sure to download skse installed too so it works smoothly.

While not perfect, some of the Deadric quest's would work RP wise. I would at least start MQ ( or add a mod that add's in dragon's) to "pit his strength against the monster. Or he could "hear" of foe's worthy of his battle prowess, aka Dragon Priest's. Keep those Ebony weapon's as Trophies, but don't use them unless you have already started finding Ebony items. The whole point of course is having "hard" enemies that make the battles worth while.

I didn't see a whole lot of racial discrimination against orcs in Skyrim. There is an orc librarian at the Mages's College; orcs are not prohibited from entering the cities (such as happens to non-player Argonians in Windhelm). You see them working in the mines, an orc owns the smithy in Markarth & another is the jarl's personal smith.

My current character is a grizzled old orc. He's puzzled why the empire would want to execute him without a trial just for crossing the border, but is willing to let bygones be bygones & stay out of the civil war. He is now thane of 3 holds & everyone likes him.

Except bandits, the Thalmor, draugr, & the occasional Dark Brotherhood assassin...

Life is what you make it, including video game life. Why be angry all the time?
