Hey. my skyrim just completely shuts down my pc without warning. other games i can run without problems.

i use mods, but no graphic mods

At first glance I'd say "over heating". When was the last time you cleaned your pc?

Definitely clean your PC. Check out the inside of the power supply, and the CPU and GPU heatsinks for dust.

Get a can of compressed air, take the PC outside (you can thank me later for suggesting this) and blow out the dust.

If this does not sort it, then it could be a power supply going bad. Skyrim will tax your rig like no other game, so it can cause a rig with a failing power supply to shut down.

Definitely DL some kind of temp monitoring software. I use speedfan. Check to make sure System/audio/video drivers are up-to-date.
