I, Sload

Do you think it is ever possible whether in TES VI or TESO that we will have the possibility to play a Sload? Would it break lore to do so? I ask because as strange as may be, I actually like the Sload. Necromany and teleportation magics are among my favorites in fantasy settings too. But the idea of playing a sluggy creature. I want visit a Sload king that looks like the Great Goblin from An Unexpected Journey. lol.

BTW, what Daedric Princes are among the more favorites in Sload society? I believe N'Gasta followed Clavicus Vile.

The possibility of playing a given race in the future is not so much of a lore topic, if you get my drift - opinions vary widely and we have nothing at all to base our speculation on. Since Morrowind, the set of playable races seems to have been somewhat set in stone - for the main titles, that is. I suppose spinoff games could have every possibility of representing the more out-there races.

But Sload are pretty great and fascinating, as well as one of the more comedic races. The problem with being a Sload adventurer is that they are pretty much opposed to doing anything exciting. From http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Pocket_Guide_to_the_Empire,_1st_Edition/The_Wild_Region on the Sload:

Which is funny, but would certainly present an unorthodox playing experience.

But maybe not all Sload are like that.

ESO links the Sload with Molag Bal, I believe; http://www.imperial-library.info/content/journal-tsona-ei-part-four concludes with a portal to Coldharbour from Thras.

Umpteen said pretty much what I was going to say. I would like to note that there is a physiological reason that sload society and culture became so slow-paced. They are really physically incapable of moving/acting quickly.

As for Daedra, the sload generally do not "worship" anyone, though they occasionally revere the God of Worms. That said, they will follow whatever path best suits their goals. So if they calculate it to their greatest advantage to call upon the favors of a particular deity, they will do so.

Also: There's nothing wrong with liking the sload. They are a close second for my favorite race!
