Ok, so for about a year or two ago I got Oblivion GOTY off of steam. It worked great for 2 years or so. I also installed every DLC (frostcrag, vile lair etc). However, just the other day I turned on steam, turned on the game, and pressed play like I always do, but this time the launcher just crashed and gave me the "program stopped working" message.

So, I did all the normal stuff like check the data files, delete ini, uninstall/reinstall, etc. However, nothing is working, I always get the same crash. This is really confusing me because the game has worked fine for 2 years until now, and I have no idea what could have changed....

specs: Processor: AMD Sempron [censored] 2.7 ghz or something single core.

Graphics card: Nvidia GT 610

Operating system: Windows 7 (ya oblivion hates this system I know)

Current things I have done to try to fix the issue: messed with data files, uninstall, reinstall, delete ini, registry scan with ccleaner.
