would Magnum 500 be too real-world for NV?

Largest one in the game is the .44, is it because the .50 was released in 2003? Or is it too similar to the 12.7mm pistol?

The more guns, the better.

I think the reason a .50 cal revolver isnt in the game though is more that the recoil would be enormous, and the programming in the game already doesnt handle the recoil from the current .50 rifles very well.

The largest gun in the game is a .45-70 isn't that pretty much bigger than .44? and 12.7 mm is .50 cal correct? metric is not my strong suit. Both those pistols are larger or at least equal in stopping power to a .50 cal pistol, since they use smaller rounds in .50 cal pistols anyway. SInce a .50 cal machine gun bullet is about 6 inches long and wouldn't fit in any pistol.

The 44 is already a beastly pistol. Wouldnt mind seeing more guns but maybe an explosives based blunderbuss

As far as more guns, I would like to see more, of course. But I want to see more well thought out weapons. I wouldn't want Fallout to become another CoD knockoff where throwing a bunch of military weapons in seems just about right. Weapons unique to the universe would be something I would like to see.

Also, the .44 is already a monster of a gun. Why add more stopping power?
