Starwars: The Old Republic

This is about the MMO by Bioware, not the brilliant RPG from some years ago :P

How many of you play this game? I started just a few days ago and simply love it!

I am especially looking forward to the next expansion, which will bring player housing and guild flagships.

In case anyone was curious, I'm a cyborg Sith marauder

I never really did play it. I saw it super cheap on steam, but I never got around to it. I saw a friend play it, though. I heard the second was alright, although apparantly a lot could have been done better? But I do like Obsidian so maybe I'll have to chance it.

It went free to play.

Wait, your talking about the older RPG. I was referring to the MMO by Bioware

I think he means swtor the mmo not kotor.

Anyways yeah I play it. Got a 2 month subscription for it a while back and I don't know if it will end soon.

It was very fun at the beginning but once I got my first lvl 55 toon, things felt repetitive.

Even after making new toons, it still feels like much of the same.

My first toon is a human jedi knight btw. Awesome for dps but very reliant on healers.

I was playing it on and off. I bought a 2 month sub for it about 2 months ago and didn't play it a ton. I hate MMO's because I'm not good at making a time commitment to a game. I bought the sub because I wanted to experience what it was like to be a subscriber. It was fun and all but the game has way too much dialogue and annoying quests. Don't get me wrong, I love dialogue and stories but there is simply too much going on for me to care at all. I'm a Jedi Sage around level 16 and that is probably as far as I'll get.

The older games I loved to death. I just bought KotOR for my PC this past week. I've had the second for quite a while and played it with the Restored Content Mod. Previously I played both games about 8 times each on Xbox.

So this game went F2P? I might actually give it a shot then.
