I have Xbox 360. I have three accounts. Three years ago I fell in love with FO3. On one acct. I have like 6 characters. Nearly all are maxed out. On My second acct. I have a couple trial characters I tried out for grins and giggles as FO3 is the best FPS I've ever played. I gives Me all the things I like, such as exploring, making choices and following My own story line.

Couple months ago I got FO3-GOTY for the DLC. I made a new acct to start with all the DLC. This past week I decided to show some friends My past exploits and some wild characters.. Like one has killed over 1000 people and nearly 2000 creatures and has enough weaponary to start and finish WW5! As I went to the acct it loaded but said Some content was no longer available that was needed to run the game .. ( or something like that) and asked If I wanted to continue.. I hit Yes. It will start to load then crash!!! I can no longer get to any of my older games!!!

I loaded the DLC on My newest acct. But it seems the DLC is loaded any time FO3 is played no matter which acct I use. I am almost sick....Anyone know how to rescue My old games??

Every once in a while loading a save made on the base game into a Game Plus DLCs or Expansions will cause some issues, but just loading the save again should make all that go away.

Have you tried all your old characters or just the one?

I've tried at least 20 different saves, four or 5 on each character. Every one has caused the machine to stop functioning to the point I have to hit the big off butrton on the console as the whole thing fails to respond. Some of the saves are at over 300 hours. Man, that's a lot of time. The saves are much more important as bragging rights I know, but I still want them back.

I read I could clear thge cache. I did that to no avail.
