Started a miscellaneous quest from Merryfair Farm which entailed me locating a bow from the ratways under riften, when I got to the ratways there was no icon to show me where the bow, how am I supposed to find the bow?

Any help very much appreciated.

You look for it instead of relying on the quest markers. It is somewhere in the ratway vaults (the place behind the ragged flagon)
