Has anyone ever wondered why Hand to Hand was never a skill tree in Elder Scrolls Skyrim.

I often had fun beating up people with my fists in Oblivion. So when I picked up the game in 2011 I was somewhat surprised it wasn't returning. I started playing the game yesterday again and this question really did make me wonder.

Would you have liked to have seen a hand to hand combat skill tree?

Also why do you think it never mad an appearance?

I definitely miss this skill as it would've fit in perfectly in Skyrim with skill trees and perks. They add brawls yet remove the hand to hand skill

Yes you hit the nail with the hammer. I wonder if it might have just been a timing issue to get the game out by 11.11.11 and then never bothered to get it in with a patch or dlc.

I think that was probably the case, just a timing issue. Why else would they remove a skill they know people have fun with and enjoy?

I had to make my khajiit rogue start using daggers,because I wasn't getting any more damage but the enemies were.svcks

A H2H skill is absent from the game for the same reasons as spell-crafting and throwing weapons.

If you're on PC, the SkyRe mod adds a hand-to-hand branch of the 1-handed tree.
