Follower are ruining the game for me.

I have followers that are supposed to be following me, when I speak to them they have all of the dialogue options but they act as if they aren't following me.

They stay at the location where you meet them at, and there's no 'Follow Me' option but there's still the Wait Here, Lets Part Ways, and all the other options...

The followers are Eola, and the Azura Priestess you meet during The Black Star Quest (I can't remember her name atm, sorry..)

Please help me, this glitch is really ruining the game for me as the theme of my RP was heavily based on Daedric artifacts and trying to form a little cult/mini guild type of thing with these followers so now it won't work...

Mods that effect followers I have: UFO, Convenient Horses, and Fixed Followers Lite (Installed this one after the problem started hoping it'd fix it, but nothing happened.

Follower Mod: Hoth by Hothtrooper

I've tried uninstalling all of the mentioned mods, installingt hem in different combinations, and the only thing that seemed to work was reverting back to an older save but after a few hours the followers started to glitch again. -_-

Uninstalling them would not fix things as the follower script changes from UFO etc stick around in the save, as you have found out.

Dismissing and rehiring probably does not work?

I used to use UFO but it does remarkably little for basic follower stuff you need, like making sure "Follow me..." works.

I don't know why you chose to add "Fixed Followers Lite" as other than the name it does nothing UFO doesn't already do.

Consider uninstalling UFO from your game using the riverwood fairy, and trying Simple Multiple Followers http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31581/? "force recruit" option.

Maybe a mod conflict? Does it still happen if you load an earlier save?

The video below is good for a laugh if you've experience follower frustrations:
