Really wish there was a magic auto-mirror mesh option :

So, topic...

I have no idea why, but I REALLY dislike asymmetry :/ Ever since I was a little kid playing with Lego, I always had to make my buildings perfectly symmetrical, and that's the same here with Skyrim. It's really driving me crazy, then, that so few of the buildings work symmetrically :/

I've been trying to edit the Meshes in Blender, and managed to mirror them, but hit some issue when trying to export :/ Is there any easy, non 3d-moddler way of mirroring a mesh, or a program that will do it automatically for me?

Uh... going out on a limb here because I haven't used blender in 2 yrs, but I'm guessing you're trying to export with the symmetry modifier still "in use"? Yeah that's going to lead to issues like duplicate vertices.

I hope you see where I'm going with that. There's something you need to do with the symmetry modifier when you're done with the model and I can't say what because I don't remember.

In 3DS Max, you're to "Collapse" the Symmetry Modifier into Editable Poly and then weld any vertices that did not merge with the collapse.

Something similar has to be done with the modifier in blender.

GOD I WISH I DIDNT MAKE 500000000 TYPOS PER POST.
