Hello all,

Just wanted to drop by and say hi. I usually troll the Skyrim forums, which is my main game, but decided I need a little variety. Wandering around a nuclear fallout wasteland sounded idea, so I picked up the game from steam. Not bad so far, died a few times but learning how this game works.

Im a PC user and just want to enhance my game play, any suggestions for mods? Thanks!

A question better suited for the mod subforum, but, anyway, check out http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1498958-martigen-needs-help/ - it has lots of tips.

EDIT: I'm actually not sure if http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2761/? is mentioned there, but it's my single favorite mod. It's an overhaul affecting a lot of things, but almost everything is configurable via an ingame menu.

Also perhaps not mentioned in the thread as it's made by the OP is http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/3211/?, which is excellent and also very configurable much as FWE.

MMM looks great! Though for a newbie like me, would it be to much...or we going with 'Pain is weakness leaving the body' type thing? Either way I might go for it. I DL Monster Mod for Skyrim and that was brutal and a hoot to play though like that!

Well the thing is it is best to play the game a bit. Take note on things that feel like it needs improving or fine tuning to your needs. Check the Nexus site since they have the largest selection of mods.

Also helps to post here what your computer specs as well since running mods can get heavy on your PC.

I will post a link to Gophersvids since he has quite a few videos on using and installing mods for the Fallout 3/NV/Skyrim. Some of the videos can be helpful to all of those games.

Check these videos out first and then go to his main youtube site and then check the New Vegas Tutorials and then Skyrim has a few nice videos for beginners to using mods.
