At the ending of fallout new vegas i killed general oliver and saw the pictures of the ending, but nothing comes up when i finished the game, the credits came and that was it, and my save is before i killed general oliver and now i can't continue the game

New Vegas is not like Fallout 3 to play it after the end.

Fallout New Vegas ends at the ending slideshow.
You need to go back to the save before you started the Battle for Hoover Dam and continue playing other stuff.
