Improved vampires instead of Dawnguard DLC? Console only.

This is for people who think that Bethesda should have worked harder on vampirism and who play the game on console.

Because Bethesda could have made vampirism so much more fun and believable, would you have sacrificed the Dawnguard DLC release for console solely for the sake of having much better vampires in-game? (Not as a replacement DLC, just more effort in the first place or even an update.)

I actually would, myself.

Granted, Dawnguard is very fun to play, but for me it would be much better to simply just have better vampires, with new powers, age or blood based speed increase, levitating, the ability to drain people, thralls, a new set of weaknesses, real sunlight damage, mind control and more. I also would quite like it if they had it so that enemies cannot kill you by normal means without silver, making them have to cut your head off or something.

I mean, I really enjoy the vampirism in Skyrim, but they could have done so much more, I believe.

In case it's not obvious, I'm asking only for console discussion as PC gamers have mods to turn to.

Update: I wasn't suggesting that this was ever a possibility. This is just an idea to see how much people really like Dawnguard. I apologise if this caused any confusion. I only just realised.

I rather like the dawnguard vampire, but i thought it was a bit silly to beable to become a stage 4 vampire and not be noticed, as far as i am aware, the faces of vampires are more noticeable as vampires thsn they once were.

However levitation should fall under anyone as an alteratiin spell, and mind control is basically illusion.

Well I am a PC user with mods for Dawnguard simply because Dawnguard was rather full of issues... mods fixed those.

But would I give up Dawnguard to have better vampires in general? Sure. The plot of DG is trivial and the fact it effects your vanilla game when its suppose to be an add on is dumb. Who's idea was it to have random vampire attacks that wipe out entire towns? Oh sure it stops after the DG's MQ is done but now your rushing through it and not enjoying it.

I think they could have put a lot more effort into the vampires themselves. DG's ugly vampire face for example. before it was easy to hide your appearance based on the stage you were as a vampire. But with DG you get this ugly bat face but no one seems to notice anymore? What did everyone go blind? :P
