Legacies

Well, when I first met TES and witnessed the assassination of Uriel Septim VII I wasn't really touched. Until I started to play Morrowind. I noticed that Uriel was actually guiding the Nerevarine. Then I learned that Uriel was also present in Daggerfall and Arena. So then I realised something:
"I witnessed the assassination of the most important character in the TES series!"

My question: What did the TES veterans feel at that moment?

And then we have Eternal Champion. Since Oblivion took place in Cyrodiil, why haven't we heard anything about him/her? They filled us in about the Nerevarine, but never mentioned the Champion, nor the Agent(Daggerfall). Or am I missing something?

Then we have poor Sinderion... Finding his skeleton in Blackreach made me quite sad.

And of course, the fall of the Blades, the Empire etc....BUT! The fall of the White Gold Tower caught my attention. I have so much memories about that tower. Always curious about what might've been behind that door on the first floor.

Then we have the door in Niben Bay. Do you think it's still there since the Sheogorath cycle has been broken? The CoC was able to travel in and out of the SI after releasing Jyggalag.

But that's just what I noticed. What did you guys notice? Or do you have any comments on what was mentioned before?

Good morning.

That's the thing. I am like you in a way because I started with Oblivion in 2008. OB was my first. I was pretty 'wowed' by the entire Tutorial, it was also my first open-world RPG, I was ecstatic that I could do little things like look down a well, or choose to eat food!

I was impressed by the way the Emperor gives us his Amulet, though I didn't shed any tears, or anything like this, when he passed. But I recently started playing Arena, and that's when I realized (like you) that Uriel Septim VII is captured in this game by Jagar Tharn. Septim is in his 40s (I think) so he's younger then, but I agree with you. His appearance in TES 4 does carry a lot of weight once we know his history.

Too much writing. :deal: Bethesda has a hard enough time keeping their lore straight and getting their facts right from game to game. It's not a good idea to force the issue, is what I mean to say.
