Mine's a mess compared to the ones posted here. Even my console gaming area is a mess. I got toys, figures, various electronics(guitar tuning aids, DS and Gameboy chargers) along with sweatbands strewn across my desk. I also have a dusty lamp that never gets use.
Yep. My desk is something everyone would want to see and imitate. My desk is an IKEA one that I got from someone, though. The shelves either have boxes with old Sonic comics in them, old books I hardly ever read, manga, or old cassettes(because, why not put my failed cassette collection there?).
Describing the desk is better than actually showing it. It also has tons of paper towels on it because... why not, I guess. I'm too lazy to bother throwing them away and they are good as coasters.

The reason is because I sit with my legs crossed when thinking while gaming. If I am not thinking hard, I do not sit that way. http://www.jesuotaku.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/death_note_l_by_nitro7e-d4s4eti.jpg Tried once, don't do it. It hurts. I tend to think very hard, so yes, I am in my thinking position often.
My PC area has two keyboards and I plan for my desktop to also have two keyboards. Just because. It's a weird thing to like, but I love having two keyboards and find it very useful. It also works as a turbo button of sorts in some games. I think this only works if it's a laptop, though. One other reason for the two keyboards is because I like having a keyboard on the top part and a keyboard on the keyboard tray. I can't stand the keyboard not being lower than the mouse. This may explain why my hands cramp so much, though. Though, once I get into Doom, it takes me hours to stop playing. Almost like I've found my happy place for a few hours that no other game can give.
