Autumnwatch Tower - i know it's buged but does anybody know a fix? i just got the 2nd word for marked for death and i got some weird 2nd version of drain vitality. i already had the 1st and 2nd word for drain vitality. why 2 seperate drain vitality? why does 2nd drain vitality say kill and leech just like marked for death? what should i do?

load a previous save game before you got drain vitality and finish marked for death first (I think that was the fix), otherwise the only way to fix it is to start up a new game.

It's a bug added by Dawnguard I believe...it doesn't cause any issues other then creating a duplicate version of the shout.

Unofficial Dawnguard Patch fixes that but it's only available for PC and even then a save before the bug occrs must be used. If you're on console, your only option is to revert to an older save and try again.

But i can't reload before Drain Vitality way too far back. i would have to do DG and DB and build my Hearthfire house again.

you're treading on thin ice, you should save frequently in these games and have more then 1 save file per character....otherwise you're asking for a game breaking bug to cause a serious ragequit.

It is actually a different version of a similar shout. I believe that only one or 2 of the words are the same. One is introduced by Dawnguard, called Drain Vitality. The other is the one from vanilla Skyrim called Marked for Death. The one at Autumnwatch Tower is part of the vanilla.

i have 100 saves for my character plus 3 auto saves. so thats not a problem for me it's just that the order i did the factions in is way too far back. so i can't reload before Drain Vitality.

100 saves? Yea I think that's backed up enough
