Why can't these models be used as activators?

I've turned cobwebs into flora and replaced all cobwebs with my flora cobwebs, but I don't get an activation prompt when I place the cursor over a cobweb.
Is there something about the models themselves that is blocking activation?

The model needs collision geometry in order to work as a clickable activator. If worst comes to the worst, you can always just wrap the cobweb in a trigger box, then double click it, go to the primitives tab, then check the box for player activation. Then use that as your activator instead

These nifs have no collision ( so you can walk right through). You only get a response from the cursor when a collision is "hit"
