Who has the better radio?

Three Dog became pretty annoying after a while in FO3 but the overall quality of the tracks that Bethesda selected for it was excellent, so I voted for that. Enclave radio was also incredible and I think those two were both far better than anything offered in New Vegas.

Galaxy News Radio becomes a lot more bearable if Three Dog meets an unfortunate accident, like tripping over one of the Lone Wanderer's bullets or something.

3 Dog haters huh? I hope they make him harder to kill in 4.(if he is in it.) I hope they give him special gear like a bullet proof vest, sunglasses that reflect laser weapons and his own companions consisting of 3 different dogs, at least one mechanical. Seriously though i do hope they take people who kill the dj into consideration but it should definitely be an option. How about a comment like "In a world so devoid of entertainment who would think of killing someone who tries to entertain them"?

I voted New Vegas.

Black Mountain Radio is hilarious. I'd have voted for Radio New Vegas instead, but if I hear "Johnny Guitar" one more time, I might shoot myself. So crazy mutants it is.

Splish Splash, Mac the Knife, Clementine, Plain Jane and La Mer would have been perfect in the games

I voted GNR b/c it is well the best in FO3 and Three Dog makes it pretty fun.

I also voted Black Mountain b/c crazy mutants warning about battle cattle is funny

The game simply needed a "Stop talking about me on the radio or your broadcasting days are numbered!" option. No actual need to kill him. You put up that broadcasting dish, you could have taken it down again if the game let you.

I personally liked hearing about my exploits on the radio but i like the idea of having that as a dialogue option. Wonder if they could add something like that simply... You choose that dialogue option and it no longer plays the parts of his broadcast that are specifically about you.

I liked how it worked in New Vegas in mentioning one's deeds. Mr. New Vegas reported every action you made in the wasteland, but with no real identity as to who did it. Actually reporting news in the wasteland and not some fan service for a specific person. Where as I find Three Dog reporting about this Lone Wanderer constantly, it just feels corny, but with no real surprise coming from Bethesda. Besides that, I did find Three Dog annoying and rather obnoxious as well.

GNR is best, Three Dog is so cool.

I aspire to be like him every day, fighting the good fight.

Yes, got tired of hearing the same 3 last things I did when I had more or less finished the game.
There needs to be some ranting about certain traders and places before you are there, other than tenpenny tower.
I liked Eric Todd Bellums though, he is my favourite voice actor.
A few more than 5/ 6 songs wouldn't hurt too.

I really liked the music in both games, each complimented each games theme/gameworld very well.

I ultimately voted for New Vegas, but good music is good music, the radio is a highlight in both games.

On PC, the CONELRAD Civil Defense Radio is probably one of the best mods I have ever gotten.

Fallout 3 had cooler and way more "mood setting" music than vegas(not really a fan of country and western, and they only play a smattering of the rat pack type tunes).

Black mountain radio was hilarious to listen too, so that would be second choice, but I voted f3 so there yah go.

Changed my vote from Agatha's station to GNR. I had confused Agatha with Margaret and thought I was voting for post-Three Dog GNR being ran by Margaret.

So my vote is GNR, but only after Margaret takes over. :P

Like music in both as they fit their respective settings. I only wish Eden, Three-Dog and Mr. New Vegas talked a bit less.

Granted, I only listen to music while in cities. In Wasteland and dungeons, I prefer the sweet tone of ambient music

I don't see it as having anything to do with Beth: the NV hero is supposed to be a hero of faction X (and only one of many: supposedly many couriers are that badass in the West Coast so he ain't even that special) while F3's protagonist is supposed to be the Messiah who ended the Dark Age of Capital Wasteland (the game starting with a Bible verse and originally the ending with martyrdom should have made that clear). As such I'd say both DJ's fit their respective stories.
