This [censored] svcks.
I talked to the guy in Camp McCaren and got a quest to find the leak. He said he didn't want me doing the job since I had a bad rep with NCR, but I persuade with speech. Later I join Legion and get quest to talk to Curtis who is a spy. I talk to Curtis and he lets me in on a plan to blow up the monorail. But this isn't updated in the quest log. All I can do is continue asking around for suspicious activity. Curtis tells me there are explosives hidden in a garbage can. I can't access the garbage can and like I said nothing about carrying out the monorail explosion in the quest log. I went on and got control tower access and went in at night and there's Curtis who acts like he doesn't know who I am and won't let me leave so I have to kill him. WTF? I'm supposed to be helping him blow up the damn monorail. Cannot believe how buggy this is...an entire quest line ruined. How am I supposed to get around this? Going to an old save isn't an option, was way too long ago I took the "find a leak" quest.
EDIT: I reset the quest but now I don't get the option to tell Curtis I am legion. UGH!!!!
EDIT 2: I can't alter the stages of "I Put a Spell on You" but I can reset it via the console. For some reason, trying to set it to different stages does nothing. However, if I could set the Legion quest which led into it "the finger of suspicion" so that Vulpes gives me the quest to go talk to Curtis, then I could reset "spell on you" and pick it up after talking to curtis. Does anyone know the stage I'm looking for? stage 10, 20, 30, 40, & 50 all were useless because none of them resulted in Vulpes telling me to talk to Curtis. Anything above 50 had no effect. How on earth do I know what stages to set for the quest? I need the stage that corresponds with my character saving Martina from the Omerta thugs by telling the thugs the legion sent me. Those other stages I tried did NOT result in that outcome. I need the stage number that DOES result in that outcome. I tried resetting "Finger of suspicion" and doing it over again, but the Omertas were not there and Martina kept telling me she would stay out of trouble.
