I loved the game play but I hated the ending. Stupid ending to a story. Just dumb.

Yes i was, this topic was about corrupt game Journalism, not about what game is better than the other.

Morrowind is my favorite game from Beth. I still love it. I still love Bethesda because of it. Even my signature quotes are about MW. Sounds shallow, right? Loving a studio just for one game they did. But that's reality. I wish Beth re-made Daggerfall with today's tech but that's just pipe dreams of the highest order.

This has completely derailed from the apparently unforeseen possibility that there might be more fans of Skyrim than GTA who were willing to vote to "Which ES game do you like better", so unless it gets back on topic, it can close.

Hard to say since there are companies out there that are so greedy they want that extra $100 to burn in their fireplace.

I confess I didn't click the link so my first comment is irrelevant. Now that is funny. Comparing a generic gangsta series to one of the most influential IP's in gaming history. It's also a perfect illustration of what's wrong with the gaming industry.

It won't because TES is not a competition to Rockstar. Rockstar's games are undeniably 'action based' where as Bethesda games are geared to Roleplay, further, from a business perspective, Bethesda is doing nothing that could compete with Rockstar. Skyrim is officially out of the dev cycle and they've 'gone quiet' for now and GTA V is, right now, the king game in the spot light and if it follows GTA IV's footsteps, there will DLC to further advance the moneytrain. So yeah, I agree. I highly doubt losing a worthless poll on an unimportant website will hardly send Rockstar crying into their cups.

*Sigh* I'm not going into that discussion, if you want to play this game, go play it in the TES board, lots of that. My point here is those games are OFFICIALLY labelled under RPG. Rockstar is the 'powerhouse' Developer and Bethesda teeters between powerhouse dev when a game is nearing release and that developer that's been in the business so long they're an established name.

No, they aren't close. At all. Bethesda has built up tons of lore, you have more gameplay options and an elaborate leveling mechanic. You actually get to role play and talk to people. You have dialog options. GTA has none of this. Please don't insult people's intelligence by saying they are comparable. They are not.
