So this is my first time owning any of the TES games on PC and I've decided to add some mods.

The first mod I decided to add was "Better Boddies" and it went off without a hitch. I wanted to add some additional graphics mods to make the game look prettier over all.

I happened upon the "Morrowind Graphics Overhaul" which even comes with a handy installer. I downloaded the mod but now I can't get it to work at all.

The problem is that when I open the installer, it thinks that I don't have Morrowind installed or either of the expansions. It won't let me continue past the first step. I have the game on Steam, which I assume is part of the problem.

Can anyone help me with this?

1. You have to have disabled Steam overlay

2. The game should be installed outside of Program Files

3. All files that you downloaded have to be copied in your Morrowind directory

I disabled the Steam overlay as well as the UAC, as it told me to do in the read me.

I tried to move the game out of the program files but then it wouldn't open.

Not really sure what the last one means....

There's a thread round these parts for MGSO, it's usually on the first few pages. Alternatively there's their own http://forum.rpgitalia.net/forum/3-morrowind-overhaul-international-section/. Maybe there's a thread there that could help?

Which folder did you move?
I believe it has to be the Bethesda one, not the Morrowind one.

Okay so I tried moving the game, re installing it, installing it in another location, and all of those things multiple times.

The installer app still doesn't seem to detect Morrowind on my system....anyone have any ideas?

Never mind. I figured it all out.

I had the installer in the wrong location so it wasn't detecting the game. You can close this.
