I started shivering isles and have a few saves there. After the first time I exited the game and loaded a save game, all the items enchanted by me disappeared! and not only in the save game in shivering isles, but also in the others in Cyrodill!!

has this happened to anyone?

edit: also my custom spells are gone!

Not without a mod or a corrupted save causing this. Load an earlier save, do you have your stuff? If so, then the save your posting about may be corrupted. Try loading it after you load the save that has your stuff back and see, but don't hold any hope.

Then you have a corrupted save. Load up the earlier one, and play on.

How many hours do you have on your save? Did you install the most up-to-date official patch?

31 hours the most recent, but I have also other save games that have less hours, and have also been affected.

I have the 5th anniversary edition of the game. I suppose it's already patched.

Hmm. This sounds exactly like the "FormID" or "Reference" Bug... but that shouldn't be the case if you have a fully patched and updated game.

One would think. Patched version is 1.2.0416.

I agree, it does sound like the FormID bug, but it shouldn't be anywhere near happening at 31 hours.

You haven't been doing anything zany like spawning thousands upon thousands of NPCs or items, have you? Not that I think you have, but I'm trying to figure out what could cause this in such a young save game.

I haven't spawned any item. I had just a dozen of custom enchanted items, and spells.

Sounds like a corrupted game. I would just start over, with a new character.
