Hello all

Recently I downloaded a mod which adds new crossbows to the game. (Diamond Smithing)

I quite like the way they look but I wanted to alter their stats a little. Tweaking Value, Weight and Damage is pretty straight forward, but I wanted to alter some other things as well.

I have some questions about how to do that:

1. Speed and Range are set to 1.0 as default. So if I set it to 1.2 for instance, will it increase the Speed/Range by 20%?

2. Armor reduction on Enhanced Crossbows: I found this record: [PERK: 0200399B]. In the Creation Kit, is it possible to make 2 copies of that record (in a new esp) but change to value to 75% reduction in the first copy and 100% in the 2nd? If yes, how can that be done?

After that's done I was planning of adding one of those records to some of the new records. But, seeing it's under "VMAD" (using TES5Edit), does that mean there is a script attached to it which I need to alter as well?

Anything other advice about changing the armor reduction is always welcome.
