Turning an npc into a vampire via console

Post » Sun May 18, 2014 1:57 pm

Anyone know how this is done? I know of the set race but that doesn't "really" turn them into a vampire. Is there any other method? Also I know of the "addspell b8780" command but it's a 10% chance and no matter how many times I try it on an npc it doesn't work/stick. Yet I can consistently get it on myself within 15 tries. I've done it well over a hundred on npcs and it won't work.

It's a scripted event that, I'm afraid, doesn't work on NPCs by just giving them those powers. You'd probably have to boot up the CK for that.

Someone prove me wrong please!

You should be able to make them look like one and have the powers but not act and sound like one.

I know it's not the same thing but seeing as you are on a PC, if you don't have an aversion to mods download http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9717/?, it has a ton of options and should you want you can make it so that vampirism is just like it is in the vanilla game. You can turn any NPC into a vampire using a Self Spell + Feeding.

Alternatively I think you can also turn followers by using http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14037/? (I think you can even give them the Vampire Lord Ability with that mod but I'm not sure how well it works)

Not the same thing, but I suppose there is no way then to cure an NPC of vampirism? One of my characters turned his wife as a quest, and I would rather she was not a vampire.
