Morrowind Modders of Old

Yes, a nice warm fuzzy feeling indeed /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

You know, what I really miss from the "Morrowind-era" is that at that time, "everyone" were at these boards. It was here, on ES-boards, the activity went on - discussions of projects, discussions on modding strategy and ethics, promotion of ones own modding projects, friendly banter, mod and modding support... Nowadays, I don't know where all the modders and mod users hang out, but it certainly isn't here. There's one community at Nexus, one at TESA, I guess there must be one at Steam (but I never managed to find a forum - their userinterface is so userunfriendly /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />) and then we are split up on dozens of various smaller forums. So it feels like staying in touch with old modder friends is much harder today, and the same goes for making new ones. But I guess this is inevitable, as the community has grown so large. Back in 2003-2006 we still were a relatively small group and we knew each other well.

Sorry, the old lady is just being nostalgic /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />.

NewRaven, if you have a functional translation to german of Witchgirl, there might still be people who would be glad to see it released. I mean, Witchgirl is hardly a top notch mod with today's standards, but for nostalgy reasons people might still be playing it (and when it arrived in january 2003, it WAS top notch - it was the first warping companion in the Elder Scrolls history, using the very first version of Grumpy's legendary warping script). I'd be happy to host your translation on my site if you'd like me to.
