What race do you want her to be?

If you have a preferred mesh I don't have a problem fitting her to one - otherwise I tend to use Robert's teen faces or Fenrir's Vampire one

I tried out Robert's teen Nord mesh and she looks ok - she does have a very strong jaw though which means you might want to hunt around for a wider face - the photo you linked to was a bit blurry for my liking so I grabbed one from another site to test with

I always position the lips across the mouth line so the teeth which show slightly open correctly - if you like it I'll upload it otherwise let me know if you find a better mesh and I can have a go for you

Illuminiel- If you look in Vvardenfell Visages, a couple of the Nord females from Bloodmoon (I think B_N_Nord_F_Head11 would work best here) have the lips separated a bit when the mouth is closed so you can see the teeth through them. That might work better with this particular texture than having her teeth painted onto her lips

EDIT: Also, is there any way you can work that eye makeup back onto the texture? I sort of like it-- it makes me think of a sorceress or something :shrug:

Okay here is a glowmapped version - I spent a little more time redoing the cheeks and colouring - have also added one of fenry13's vamp faces witht he original pic you showed added - I prefer Robert's mesh as it looks more like her - at least to me - but the Vamp face has some of her essence and you might like playing around with it anyway

as for the different eye colours I'm not sure about that - I noticed in both photos one eye is slightly differnt in colouring - I do a lot of work on the eyes of my pics adjusting saturation, sharpness, contrast and lightness and haven't recoloured her eyes at all ?

In any case she is a beautiful face to play with - very strong eyes and it was nice to do a face again

Illuminiel, do you think you could do a Dark Elf female face for me, modeled after http://www.yourcelebsource.com/album/data/media/4057/06428_Rachael_Leigh_Cook-Carlo_Allegri_portraits7_2003__02_123_50lo.jpg? I'm not sure if that's the best picture to use. There are probably better ones that are more clear. My current character is my avatar picture, so I'm using the Better Heads model.

Hi Tes96 - your avi looks like one of Westly's beautiful faces

Your link won't work for me so I am unable to see the face you wanted - I did a search on the face site I use and found a few of Rachel - she does have an interesting face and I was happy to have a practice with her.

Once again I used Robert's teen mesh which I've found has worked well with Dark Elves - however it does require the eyes to be repositioned on a slight slant - I had a good look at Rachel and apart from her lucious eyes she has quite noticeable cheek bones so I spent some time trying to get them right.

She has a greenish tinge to her - depending on what skin you use that normally works okay for me but then I use a customised Slof skin I really should of asked you which one you use.

This one is a little more blue but with enough colour and texture so she doesn't look airbrushed in game

I'm really not into the whole perfect symmetry thing with my faces as I prefer them to have some unique personality - the second photo I sued for Rachel had a quirky smile so I left it in

The more I looked at her the more I wondered if she has a broad face - so for a challenge I decided to try one of Ren's meshes - Ren altered the original Rhedd head to the eye look she was after. Well Rachel looks quite different on that mesh - however it's worth trying it out in game as the meshes change slightly in game depending on the race's body weight - this is the only one I glowmapped as tbh I'm really not inot the whole glow in the dark eyes thing.

While this last face is a bit different I was pleased to just do some colour matching with Ren's face and as she was an inspiration to me in modding it was just a homage to her.

Ren uses a bluey greyish brown skin tone which can look a little airbrushed - hopefully there is enough skin detail on the cheeks to compensate

If none of the meshes work for you perhaps you can find one you like along with a matching photo and I'll try again.

You're welcome Tes96 - I don't mind doing another version for you - if you have a specific photo I'll need a link to a site I don't need to login to see it - um no NSFW links please as some celeb sites can be a bit um aggressive in what they are selling - again just let me know what race you want - I actually thought she'd make a beautiful Breton or Imperial but understand if you don't play as one of those - though if you use Laura Craft as companion she might look gorgeous with a new face

For face making I have a graphics tablet - I've used only a mouse before but found it too difficult - the tablet gives so much more precision - apart from that I just use GIMP and Nifskope and really, really high def photos - is it hard - um well it was for me at first my first faces were a blurry mess - I'd look at Korana's work or Harborgolfers and feel frustrated I couldn't create something like they can. Even now I think Harborgolfer has the most beautiful technique for getting the skin on his faces to look as if they are glowing from within.

I learnt I would just have to develop my own style and stop trying to copy them - so I can't really say if it would be difficult for you or not - um though with a mouse definitely difficult

A face will take me about an hour to two hours to do - and sometimes the final result is just not satisfying enough or after playing with it in game under different lighting conditions for a bit I'll come back and redo it

I suggest you just give face modding a go and see what happens




Um... to be honest my male faces have not been as successful as my female ones - except for maybe the elven races. I don't really like using the meshes Rhedd made - not that there is anything wrong with them at all I just have difficulty in texturing the male meshes. Which is why my http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/981790-wip-fresh-faces-ii/page__p__14191842__fromsearch__1&#entry14191842 mod stalled - I got all the women done and the elves but the Nord, Breton and Imperial men have been a bit beyond me at this stage.

Facial hair is a tricky thing to get right as the mesh is essentially made up of stretched polygons - you're trying to get a 3D effect on a 2D surface and the face textures always stretch quite badly around the lower cheeks and jawline and the hair looks awful - the only face hair I've seen that looked really good is Westly's monkey men and I'm sure he used a special mesh to get that look.

I've managed a few short haired beards and moustaches but I generally prefer to stay away from them

Christian has a great face but I just don't think I can do him the justice he deserves - I'm sorry I'd better just say no to that one for now
