Looking for a suitable ENB

Post » Sun May 18, 2014 8:03 am

Hello there

I have been looking at different ENBs and I'm trying to find a suitable one for my next playthrough. But it's really hard to find one which fits my needs.

I have tried Seasons of Skyrim ENB, but it seems to be incompatible with Climates of Tamriel.

I'm looking for an ENB with the following features:

  • Compatible with CoT (no interiors, nights or dungeons) + Prod's Weather Patch
  • Doesn't require ELFX, RLO, Dark Interiors (reason being: they only tweak Vanilla, DB and DG, but no modded interiors, which I will be using a lot.) OR Imaginator (had some problems in the past)
  • Doesn't play a huge impact on performance
  • Is up to date and useable with the latest ENBoost.

I don't know whether there is an ENB with those features, though.

However, all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Sac

My favorite ENB is Sharpshooters and I believe it fits all of your criteria except for the performance one. If you have a good PC it won't matter though. ;)

Phinix ENB

Project ENB

Serenity ENB

Vividian ENB

The Wilds ENB

Are all compatible with Climates of Tamriel. Also prod80, the creator of the CoT weather patch and Serenity ENB made a separate ENB only for Climates of Tamriel + his patch but took it down for no reason, you could try PMing him for the old version.

Personally, I have grown to like "Gameplay Performance" ENB:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53100/?

It has a performance and an enhanced version. I use the performance. I had 55-60 FPS prior to installation and I have 52-57 FPS after. I do use CoT, but do not use RLO or ELFX. ENB though is up to your preference. Thankfully, they are easy to install and test out.

Good luck!
