I had a long debate with my mate about 5 minutes ago about the whole 'have your cake and eat it' phrase. Turns out it's not literally possible. Won't go into it now. Don't even know why I wrote that. But I have. So there.

But whatever, I don't think i'd play a game if it looked like real life. I kinda play games to escape all that. But I think it's safe to say we are not too close to that yet. What would be great at least is as I said before, bring consoles up to current PC standards and rewrite the engine so that people in the game ACTUALLY CHANGE THEIR FACIAL EXPRESSION. God what I'd give to have SOMEONE just SMILE like Oblivion. I think that's what I'd focus on.

It just makes you wonder what happened to emotion in Skyrim. Or if my Ysolda ever loved me. :'(

It was the Bosmer. If they were smiling, something was definitely wrong.

I swear in Sovngarde Ulfric was smiling after I killed Alduin and it was creepy

Lol. Maybe. I doubt it though. I don't think they are even programmed to smile. I think Serana smiles sometimes, but it's awkward lookin'.

On a side note, it's a good thing you sent Ulfric to Sovngarde.

I completely disagree. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the game as much with bad (Skyrim) graphics. I don't want an expansion to Skyrim, I want a new game. Sorry, this is an absolutely terrible idea. They can both make good gameplay and good graphics.

I'll believe that when I see it. The prettier games become, the simpler they become.

Have u ever played a game and loved it so that when a couple years have passed u find yourself playing it again without these clouded thoughts of next gen graphics? Haha

Wut Skyrim's graphics are bad? I think the graphics is one of the things Skyrim improved on from the older games.

Honestly I'd be willing to keep Skyrim's graphics if the next TES game had more depth.

I doubt VI will be much different looking than Skyrim. it'll probably be an updated version of it. just like Morrowind > Oblivion.

Nothing suggests that they can't make the visuals Crysis like and have all those things you mentioned at the same time. Its a matter of how much effort Bethesda puts into the next game.

Well in that case, Bethesda make a me a game worthy of mordor!!
