revolver reload issue

Post » Mon May 10, 2010 11:55 pm

I've noticed sometimes that, after reloading a .357 revolver (or the 'lucky' unique) it will get "stuck" and you can't fire, switch weapons, or pull up the pipboy for several seconds. The animation appears to have completed and switched over to the idle cycle.

I've had this happen with partial reloads and full reloads. I've never had it stick for longer than a couple seconds, and it's relatively rare.

I've yet to find another revolver to test this with. I have not seen this with any other type of weapon, either. There doesn't seem to be any common circumstance around the glitch.

This happened to me a few times. At first I thought it was sticky buttons or something, but I guess it's not just me after all. :(

As for the weapons themselves, I remember it happening with a revolver and the cowboy repeater. I'll make note if it happens again.

I have also had this issue with random guns at random times. I have died because of it and it is very annoying.

Also have this issue using the hunting shotgun and lever action shotgun. Kind of blows cause I was really digging them.
