Today I killed the Chief of Dushnikh Yal because I can. I get a letter from Lurbuk. "I know you killed him. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. In fact, I wanted to thank you. He will not be missed."

I think he must have left Dushnikh Yal to become a bard or was thrown out of the stronghold for wanting to be a bard.

That's funny, I got the exact same letter from Erikur when I killed Bryling for her fancy clothes

I got a letter like that waaaaay back when, I killed Svari's father and got a note from Jala (Redguard woman next to his stand) thanking me.

With a voice like that, if Dushnikh Yal is the Orcish word for heaven. Then I agree.

Interesting. I just did a quick check of the creation kit. Lurbuk has a relationship status of "rival" with Burguk. Association: Child of parent.

Well now! "Child of parent" CK ID: s0n... Lurbuk is Burguk's son? Looks like the daddy Burguk did not approve of Lurbuk becoming a bard?

Burguk ... Lurbuk sounds similar.

Off-topic but, according to the CK, Falk Fire-beard is Bryling's boyfriend... interesting. The relationship status is also checked as "secret".

In Whiterun. "Aphlid" (Battleborn Woman) is married to Idolaf (Battleborn who wears Imperial Armor inside Whiterun). They're brother and sister. They have a son...Lars.

Its saying Idolaf isnt directly from the battle-born family. The UESP is right.
