Random Acts of Violence: Riften Edition

Post » Sun May 18, 2014 9:25 am

I dropped a magic mace next to Balimunds forge accidently, Maresi came snooping and tried to grab it, Mjoll got involved and Maresi was chopped to bits by what looked like a small mob. Afterwards character was then questioned by the city guards. Kind of cool I thought, does this happen often with dropped gear in a city? has anyone else seen anything like this? I wonder if any other actions prompt an action script or whatever you'd call it.

Apparently npcs will fight over items that you drop, but I've never really tried it

Had two wealthy men in the Bee and Bard fight over a cabbage. A cabbage.

It's part of a balanced diet.

I dropped a bucket and a hide shield. Brand-Shei and Marise started fighting and Haelga jumped in to help Brand-Shei.

Very true.

---

I once dropped a sweetroll in the Riften Market and all residents attaked each other. The guards as well attacked each other for it.

It happens to me all the time I always try to decorate the towns and the only way to do it is to drop items, then before I know it everyone is dead..

Another thing you can do... attack Brynelf. The whole town will go after him. And do no good because he's essential. Most of the merchants were dead before I stopped the fight.

I never tried this, but I hear it especially works in Riften so I might try it.
