So, I've already played Skyrim like 300-500 hours or so in total, I think (yes I know that some of you have two, three or even four times as much playtime). Yet, I think I've NEVER seen a Khajiit or Argonian bandit. Well, except with my newest character (currently lvl 14), with whom I've already seen TWO Khajiit bandits... I only noticed I've not seen that before when I actually encountered the first one haha. And still not a single Argonian bandit. Funny enough, this character is a Khajiit himself, although I don't really think that has an influence.

So yeah. Uespwiki says, bandits can have every race except Altmer. I daresay that the beast-races are A LOT less common than other races, though. I think the most common ones are Nord, Breton and Redguard, then quite a few Orcs and sometimes a Dunmer or Bosmer. (Almost) no beast-races.

I mean okay, it does make sense somehow, from a story kind of view. After all, Skyrim isn't the best staying place for Khajiits or Argonians, so that might explain it. Although there seem to be quite a few Skooma-sellers or random Thieves on the streets which are Khajiit or Argonian. Hmmmm...

Eh, anyway. What are your observations in this regard? ^^

Every time I go to the bandit camp with the lunar forge in. there is always a male argonian bandit mage.

This. I just killed him yesterday.

Most bandits I come across appear to be nord, occasionally with a redguard female, or bosmer male. More commonly are male orcs. But there is several bandit locations with khajiit and argonians. I feel sorta bad killing them since seeing argonians and khajiits are not rare... but not a common sight either.

Aside from that moon forge camp place, there is also always an argonian mage in a gang that shows up when you start hanging around that exterior cave located right under the walls of Whiterun, as well as that place above Whiterun where poachers took over a mine. They aren't as common as nords are, but they're there.

Most bandit mages I encounter are Argonians.

I have also noticed that non-Nords outnumber the natives in bandit packs.
