I saw the same thing happen on my old PC before I upgraded. That had a GTX 260 in it, and I'm using a Radeon HD 7870 now. Graphics are on ultra, and the only mods that I have on are Static Mesh Replacement and Skyrim HD (I wasn't running these mods on my 260, so I don't see how this could cause it, but just for full disclosure).
Is there a fix for this?
