[RELz] Swiveller's Soils: Bitter Coast

Post » Mon May 19, 2014 12:07 pm

A new high-res texture pack for the Bitter Coast, designed to go with my other retextures. Most of the photographs that were used were taken by me in a real marshland area in the Orkneys, off the coast of Scotland.

Note that this will also replace the bark textures of the vanilla bitter coast trees, as well as most of the bark textures in Vurt's Bitter Coast mod.

The dowload link works (I've tested it), even though the page sometimes says that the mod is 0 bytes in size.

When I click the link:

From what I see from the pictures (small as they are, photobucket is impossible to use these days), the scum texture has quite ugly tiling, looks very flat and does not harmonize well with the environment. But it is hard to say from the screenshots alone.

Hmmm... That link worked fine when I posted it. There's no sign of the mod now, though - not even through the menu. I'm going to check at GHF.

If you click on the looking glass twice you will get a full-res version of the image. It's not that different from services like Flickr.

Happy to see this. I use your other soils, I will use this one too. Looks good, thanks for the release.

You are right! I have been searching for this feature for some time now, thought it was gone completely, so I changed to another service, because I was unable to find out how to link to the full-size image.

Download page is still not working for me... maybe it takes some until the file can be seen.

You're most welcome!

Thank you for letting me know. Perhaps Fliggerty's updating the database; not sure why the mod description doesn't apper.

Use the 'Morrowind Mod History' link and click the 'download' button. It should work even though the title and description don't load.
