This is my Story

My game was perfect and glitch free (actually only glitch I had was couldn't get Legate Rikke to give me quest) with a lv 60 character, a 5.? mb save file and auto save mode on, until I decided to download the 1.9 update last week that's when skyrim whent haywire. The game started to take about 4-5 min to load, I couldn't interact with npcs ( I couldn't get passed the first dialogue) and game was freezing every 2-3 minutes and most of the times game would crash and had to restart my PS3.

I started to do some research and came upon some possible solutions. I disable autosave, delete my old saves, delete game data utilit and none seem to work, so that's when I decided to try the PS3 safe mode and restored my system file and rebuild my database but still the problems persisted. so for some reason I tried to Restore File System once again and that's when I got this infinite message "the hard disk has been corrupted and will be restored" made some research and the only fix was to Restore my PS3. With no backup of saved files I was gonna have to start Skyrim once again (it didn't bother me mutch since I couldn't complete "Reunification of Skyrim" quest due to bug.

Restored my PS3 thinking all was going to be back to normal and to my surprise the game was as bugged as before. Tried to make it work (playing Skyrim with my Ipad on my lap to have something to do while I waited on the loads, thats when it didn't crash) did that for about 2hrs not remembering that I had autosave off I was killed. and was send back to the beggining. That's when I knew I was done with Bethesda/Skyrim

It's frustrating to get killed & having to be sent back to the point where you say [censored] it.

There are ways to combat this but it involves you showing diligence in all cases.

I usually keep menu auto save set for every hour of gameplay, auto save when sleeping or just remember to save every time you're looking at a potentially grim situation.

Always remember to delete excess auto saves before they become a problem.
