Steam MAC and windows

Post » Fri May 23, 2014 9:37 am

So I gave it and though I would buy the game, since that would be the right thing to do. Cause that's what heroes do. But I think it might have been a rash decision as usual cause I can't download the Windows client on my MAC via STEAM. I intend to use it with the Wine port. I tried to install the steam client for windows and run it via Wineyard but that didn't work.

I've been at this for some time now and Im close to tears, can someone please help me.

I know that part. It's how to get the game off steam (which is a windows game) onto my mac, because it won't let me download it because of the wrong platform. Ive never used steam but I suspected it would happen. And why wouldn't it. Still, fingers crossed. Hopefully I can get a refund at least but wouldn't count on it, and it suits me right. I should have spend the night writing copy texts instead and not waste it clutching at straws with computer software of which I know nothing. Then I would have made some money instead of spending it. And I could go on a vacation to southern Europe in June, maybe to Paris, drink pastis and frown at americans.

You must install windows on your mac, after partitioning your disc, as said in the link I sent you. Then you launch windows, install the windows version of Steam and then install Morrowind.

Surely there must be some other way, I don't have windows, and Im playing Morrowind not Skyrim, my hm hm hm hm copy works, so I decided to buy the legal game which I thought would be encouraged. Or at least available in some way for mac users without bootcamp.

You cannot play a windows game on a Mac, unless you do as described in the link. Install Windows on your mac, then Steam, then Morrowind. It's the only way.
